The movies make emotions look so strong and real, whereas when things really do happen to you, it's like watching television – you don't feel anything. Right when I was being shot and ever since, I knew that I was watching television. The channels switch, but it's all television."

Shelby hayley photoshop 2

for this picture i merged the two pictures together using the blending meathod and aslo highered the brightness and contrast of both. i put these two pictures together because you could clearly see the faces and backround for each and they complimented eachother well. i feel like both picture had the same energy because of the brightness and that is why i chose to put them together.

Shelby and Hayley Photoshop

this picture was part of out photo shop quiz. i first created 10 layers and made them all a different threshold. i chose a diferent color for each layer. then i combined all the layers and changed the backround to black and white and used a plastic wrap effect on just the backround.

Family Tree Photoshop

For this picture i took a picture of a tree and decided to cut all of my family members out of other pictures and place them onto the tree. i used about 9 pictures for this one picture. i used the magnetic lasso tol to crop people out and paste onto my tree. finally i used the water paper effect on just the people and animals faces to create a brighter effect on all of them, i even adjusted the opacity so that some of the tree would be visible through their faces.

Cheer Leader Photoshop

This project was very different. Our goal was not to just snap a well framed picture using the basic principles and elements but also to create a picture that was impossible to be taken with just a camera. I took these photos of my friend Shelby in her cheer leading uniform so that I could create a layered picture with similar photos.
First I messed with the brightness and contrast. I made the brightness on both photos higher as well as made the contrast greater so that there would be more of a shiny tone to the picture. I wanted one picture to show through more so than the other so I made one brightness level lower than the other. I also lowered the opacity on both pictures to also create the same effect of one picture showing through more than the other. Also when I was framing the pictures I wanted to make sure I made her emblem, “Premier” a central part of the image. This was one of my main points.
I choose these two pictures because they work well with each other, not against. They are both vertical pictures but one is of her body vertical and the other is of her body horizontal therefore making it so that you can see both pictures clearly.

chicken photo shop

For the picture of my chicken, i used the threshold meathod to bring out the dark and light spots. i also changed each layer of the chicken to a different color blue and i used the rainbow effect on the whole picture to change everything in the back round.
